LOST PARTY INVITE KIT

LOST PARTY INVITES

Here are the pictures for the "Lost Finale Party Kit" I made.  Its an example of a themed party kit/invite.   If you know Lost (the show) then it will all make sense.   I designed the whole thing as a package from the Dharma Initiative welcoming the recruit to the island/party.  It contained everything I made such as a welcome letter, information packets on the island specifics, maps, a plane ticket (the party details), and a uniform (the custom t-shirt).  I used my cricut to create the personalized t-shirts, document holders, ticket holder, and the stencil for the box.  Everything else I designed in photoshop and printed.  The shirt was also designed in photoshop, then cut out on freezer paper with the cricut.  Then I ironed it on the shirt and painted it.  When I was done creating everything I boxed it all up and sent it off the unsuspecting party goers.  If you want to know anything else specifically let me know.

Happy Easter! (& Place Cards)

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Wishing you all a hoppy, fun, and blessed Easter. I'm also including the place cards I made for this years dinner. I used the cricut, martha stewart glitters, brads, stickles, and flowers. When they are on the table there will be an egg resting it the bottom circle with the persons name on it. The “name eggs” are my sister-in-laws part so I will post a picture of that after dinner tonight. In case you want to know exactly what I did...

DIRECTIONS:   First I used CDS to design the eggs with a shape in the middle. Then I had the cricut cut out the center shape first (this is key or they will all rip) and then on the second pass the egg shape. I also cut one more solid "egg shape" for the backing. Second I traced the outline of the design in the middle of the egg on the backer egg and glued down various martha stewart glitters over it. Third I glued the back of the egg to the front and outlined/embellished with stickels.

Next I had the cricut cut out squares and strips which I made on CDS. I made the strips into circles with a dot of glue, used a brad and some more glue to adhere it to the bottom of the square, and then glued the egg on the top of the square. Finally I added a flower under the egg with a brad.
